Stolen from tini_91  who got it from didzease

When you see this, post a poem in your journal.

This was written by Rainer Maria Rilke, he has always been my favorite poet besides Bertolt Brecht. I love the images he is able to evoke.
This was written 1907 in the Jardin des Plantes in Paris.

Music Meme

Found this at lyxzen 's journal, I think this is fun....:

You can learn a lot about someone by the music they listen to.
So here is the game! Hit shuffle on your iPod/iTunes or mp3 player and write down the first 25 songs.
No cheating or skipping songs that are shameful.

01. Black Sabbath - Children of the Grave
02. Wings - Cafe on the left bank
03. Smith - The Weight (Easy Rider Soundtrack)
04. The Beatles - Let it be
05. The White Stripes - Seven Nation Army
06. Uriah Heep - Bird of Prey
07. Wings - Uncle Albert/ Admiral Halsey
08. The Beatles - You know my name (look up my number)
09. The Beatles - Benefit of Mr Kite/ I want you/ Helter Skelter (Love Remix)
10. Cream - I feel free
11. Elvis - I'm gonna sit right down and cry over you
12. Status Quo - Rocker's Rollin'
13. Billy Joel -  We didn't start the fire
14. Steve Miller Band - Jet Airliner
15. Thin Lizzy - Whiskey in the Jar
16. The Beatles - Another Girl
17. The Beatles - I'm a loser
18. KISS - 2.000 Man
19. Jimi Hendrix - Sunshine of your love
20. The Connells - '74/'75
21. Motörhead -  Whorehouse Blues
22. AC/DC - Dirty Deeds (with Bon Scott as singer!)
23. Scorpions - Same Thrill
24. The Beatles - The Ballad of John and Yoko
25. Fools Garden -  I got a ticket

What do I learn from that??? I am someone who loves it loud and hard, these aren't the hardest groups on my mp3 even, there is a lot of Manowar, Iron Maiden, Metallica, and a lot of 70ties like Led Zeppelin....but more than this I love the Beatles!

  • Current Music: Kiss- I like it loud

Some people spend their whole lives preparing the answer to this question: What albums are on your personal all-time Top 10 list?

This is kinda tricky, least I must say there is no gradation in this from good to bad or something.

  1. Revolver, The Beatles
  2. Sgt. Pepper, The Beatles
  3. Abbey Road, The Beatles
  4. Beggar's Banquet, The Rolling Stones
  5. Rock in Rio, Iron Maiden
  6. Band on the Run, WINGS
  7. Vun drinne noh drusse, BAP
  8. Back in Black, ACDC
  9. Use your Illusion I, GunsN'Roses / Use your Illusion II, GunsN'Roses
10. Some Time in NY City, John Lennon

I had to leave out so many I like....but well, these are my ten favorites.

(no subject)

On the twelfth day of Christmas, beagle_agent sent to me...
Twelve beatle9s drumming
Eleven lyxzens piping
Ten lukinha_jesuss a-leaping
Nine games dancing
Eight peanuts a-milking
Seven comics a-swimming
Six guitars a-writing
Five be-e-e-eatles
Four strawberries
Three fics
Two Pauls
...and a geschichte in a creativity.
Get your own Twelve Days:

Well, I would be satisfied with only ONE Beatle but the more, the better. Maybe I can now answer the question WHO the fifth Beatle was.......

And twelve beatle9s drumming...roftl

Writer's block: Do you believe in the concept of a soulmate?

Do you believe in the concept of a soulmate? Do you think you've met him or her? Do you ever worry that "the one" got away?

Yes I believe in the concept of a soulmate. I believe that you can have more than one soulmate, maybe one of your own gender and two of the opposite. Four soulmates make a whole soul in my imagination, containing both male and female parts. But I won't insist on four, you can pick how many you think are necessary for you.
I met two husband and my best female friend. We are bound in many ways, not only in love or friendship. Sometimes we even know what the other thinks, sometimes we do the same thing although we are far away from each other. My friend, who lives an hour away from me, cut her hair a day after mine without knowing it and it looked exactly the same. Then I dyed my hair...and when she did it some days later we had the same color although we hadn't talked about it.

No, I never worried that the one got away....I knew that I will meet him or her.

The most fantastic soulmates for me btw are John Lennon and Paul McCartney. There wasn't an inch of daylight between them, so close were they.

Astrid vs Computer: 1:0

Wow...yeah. I finally figured out where the problem with YouTube had it's origins...AND I FUCKING SOLVED IT!!!!

I couldn't watch videos any more for a long time now. My browser is Firefox and I won't give it up for IE or whatever. But it seemed to hate me and whenever I started a video on YouTube the video did not start or I couldn't change to the next video....what is really annoying when you watch videos that have two or more parts. So I downloaded IE and used it only to watch videos...annoying solution, really. Because I always had to switch from one browser to the other....technical coitus interuptus I would
Today I wanted to find the problem and I finally did....I admit, it was only by chance that I turned off my Kaspersky Internet Security!

I got rid of that Kaspersky (it started to annoy me over the last weeks because of different other problems it to hell with it)....a process that wasn't that easy, it refused to be deleted at once, I had to go the loooooong way over different registry cleanings etc. Then I downloaded Antivir, mounted my Windows Firewall....and it works. Everything is fine again...I am protected and I can watch YouTube! And  I can reach lennonwhores  again, Kaspersky Internet Security always told me that it was forbidden to enter that side....(WHAT?? John Lennon is forbidden....he is infectious, at least the love to him.)
STRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIKE!! I am not a technophobic as I always thought!

(besides I got more space for my SIMS 3 now.......Antivir does not need so much space like this shitty Kaspersky.)

Another brilliant thing I learned on Monday......: Linda McCartney's exhibition of her sixties pictures will come to my little town. I great is that??? We have a Jewish Museum here.....and that's where the exhibition will be. Because Linda was from an old Jewish family. I am really really looking forward to see it ....YEAH....on August 30th it will be opened. My husband joked that I should take a good look around...maybe some special  people show up in disguise lol! I mean Paul as an old Jew or something like that.....haha. Probably not.But I wouldn't mind either!

Now I can lay my head on my pillow and sleep. I deserve it!

Writer's Block: Teen Time Machine

If you could be a teenager living in any decade, which one would you choose?
Most definitely the 60s. And the place would be London for sure! That was the place and the time where the life was...the music, the clubs, the fashion, the bands, the drugs....yes, I would love to smoke a joint now and then without knowing that it might affect your health....., and all the great things we only read about today.

And as many others said: I DON'T WANT TO BE A FUCKING TEEN!
Hell, I left that age years ago and I was happy to be legal, get drinks, drive a car etc...
I would love to be in my early twenties. That is the best time in your got little money but a bucket full of dreams. And no fear to do everything you want to do....

There is a second place I would love to go...I would really love to be a part in the German Students' protests in 1968...
